Director's Biography
Joanna Davidovich was born on Sept. 15th 1983 in Orange Park, Florida, but spent most of her youth in Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated in spring of 2005 with a BFA in Animation from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She now resides in Atlanta working as a freelance animator.
Director's Statement
"Juxtaposer is my first film. I created it as my senior thesis project for my BFA in Animation. I wanted to make a film with strong character animation and appealing design, something that I would enjoy watching myself. But as I only had a few months to complete the whole project, I knew I had to keep it simple. Traditional animation is my preferred medium, because I feel there is something timeless and honest about the drawn line. And that honesty fits perfectly with the characters I wanted to create and the story I wanted to tell."
